Relative pronouns using 'lequel, laquelle, lesquels, lesquelles' is a highly tricky concept and requires much greater understanding, however I have designed this activity to facilitate this and there is a quiz which follows. Upon completing the 5-step method, you will have developed a much more proficient understanding of it all. This concept is briefly mentioned at IGCSE level, but used more profoundly at AS and A2 level French. There is also a wordsearch which revises previously learnt relative pronouns which can be used a warmer activity before the main stage of the lesson begins. Happy teaching and learning!

This game is an excellent way of revising grammar and it is specifically tailored at IGCSE level, however it can also be used to revise grammar at A-Level also. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this game, basically the class is divided into two teams. If a team gets a question right (on whatever topic) they place their coloured hexagon over the topic and they can pick another question. If they get a question wrong, the other team will have a chance to answer. The first team to get their coloured hexagons in a line either horizontally or diagonally, wins the game! This pack contains the game board and questions from each topic! Keep an eye out for my resources as I will be soon publishing more differentiated questions for students of a stronger ability!

Drill practice using the future tense in French for those who find tense formation difficult. This stage will greatly focus on the use of irregular verbs and the endings in the future tense according to the subjects. This stage also revises Stage 4: The pluperfect tense, Stage 3: The imperfect tense, Stage 2: The perfect tense and Stage 1: The present tense. Repetition is the key! There are two tests available for the perfect tense which are titled as 'Partie 5-9: Test au futur' and 'Partie 5-9a: Test au niveau superieur'. I would recommend taking these tests before commencing 'Partie 6: Le temps au conditionnel'

Expressions which use 'avoir' as opposed to 'etre' according to the English equivalent can be confusing for learners of French as a foreign language. This worksheet provides an exhaustive list of such expressions, followed by step by step activities which pushes students to their potential. This is a higher level version where students are asked to translate extended sentences. This activity would be ideal for students studying the IGCSE / A-Level / IB programme.
